Samsung is absolutely dominating. They've got a 21.4 percent share of the market in terms of revenue. That means that over a fifth of the money being spent on TVs is being spent on Samsung TVs. The closest competitor is Sony, with a mere 14.2 percent. Sony's no slouch though. They're number one in terms of 3D LCDs. The 3D plasma category is lead by Panasonic, as you may have expected. Despite each of these companies leading in their respective categories, when you combine both LCD and plasma 3D televisions into one category the lead goes back to Samsung. One company that's surprisingly absent in the list is Vizio. They're the number one seller in the US in terms of volume, but they don't break the top five when it comes to worldwide revenue.
