At CEDIA this past weekend, Leon Speakers unveiled their largest creation to date; the Horizon 616-OS loudspeaker. Featuring a trio of audio channels, the Ann Arbor, Michigan based company’s newest speaker measures a whopping 143” wide. Designed to match perfectly with the latest CineCurve projection screen from Stewart, the Horizon 616-OS features 6-inch Peerless HDS woofers and Morel MDT-29 tweeters.
The new Stewart CineCurve screen, which features a 2.40:1 image area, was also detailed at CEDIA. The latest redesign is the result of feedback from consumers about size concerns. The previous CineCurve screen measured a full eighteen inches on either side of the screen, which was restrictive to many customers. The newest design requires only twelve. Both the CineCurve and 616-OS speakers are available now from authorized dealers. While pricing information was not available on the CineCurve screen, the 616-OS has a suggested price of $9995 with custom upgrades such as black velvet VeLux wrap available at extra cost. |
