This year is Denon's hundredth anniversary – an impressive feat for any company, and a very noteworthy milestone. Denon, of course, is celebrating in the way that you might expect. They're releasing a new product line.
The Anniversary Product Collection – noted by having A100 in the model number – consists of seven new products, all made to be at the top of the class. Denon's Jeff Talmadge describes the line as "a tribute to Denon’s century long mission: to faithfully reproduce sound and images exactly as the original artist intended." Among the new products being released are the PMA-A100 integrated amplifier, the DCD A-100 SACD player, a turntable and matching cartridge, and a set of over the ear headphones. Of particular interest are the AVR-A100 – a new 9.2 channel receiver featuring high bit conversion and advanced connectivity – and the DBP-A100 Universal Blu-ray player, which handles Blu-rays as well as SACDs and DVD-Audio discs. We'll have full details on each product in the line when they launch this November. |
