Since its launch, Hulu Plus has been a bit of a hard sell. Watching TV on a laptop or other portable device is nice, but there just isn't anything to make most people shell out the money for the service - especially since Netflix is roughly the same price, more widely available and offers a greater amount of content.
The latest addition to Hulu Plus changes things a bit. Criterion has announced that over 800 titles will be coming exclusively to Hulu Plus. That's 800 of the most important movies in the history of the medium available to you for just $7.99 a month. Over 150 of Criterions film's are up on Hulu now and can be seen at Hulu.com/Criterion. (http://www.hulu.com/criterion) If you're a Hulu Plus member already, you can watch 'Zatoichi,' 'For All Mankind,' 'The Great Dictator' or 'The Blob' now. Sounds good right? It gets better. Not only are more Criterion Collection movies on the way, but the bonus features are heading to Hulu too. You'll be able to get the full Criterion experience. |
