The statement is a bit vague, but the idea of HD streaming finally hitting PCs is going to make a lot of people very happy.  HTPC owners have been left in the lurch, while $80 devices and videogame systems have been watching Netflix in HD.

This isn’t the only change coming to Netflix this year either.  They’ve already announced that 2010 is the year that they’ll finally offer 5.1 surround sound.  It’s not going to replace your Blu-rays yet, but an HD picture and 5.1 surround makes Netflix a much more attractive service.
