Autonomic Adds Two-way IP Control for Apple TV

Now, Apple TV users can enjoy more versatility from their media. Automatic has created a two-way IP control and feedback integration for Apple TV, compatible with Creston automatic systems and several others in the works.

Users can now browse the large media library, including album art, and send data via AirTunes in multiple Creston-controlled zones. The plug-in uses Wi-Fi or Ethernet to connect the Apple TV functions to the Creston control system. Although no PC is necessary for this configuration, if one is available, Apple TV can access the iTunes library and stream files without the need of an iPod dock.
