Pricing depends on what you want to do with the film.  If it’s a DVD that you’d like in standard definition you’ll be paying $2.00.  If it’s a Blu-ray, you’ll pay $2.00 for a high-def version.  To upgrade the SD copy from a DVD to HD, it costs $5.00.  The low cost and ease of use makes this new program a great way to introduce people to the idea of digital distribution, and could have a big impact on the industry as a whole.  It will certainly have an impact on Vudu’s business, likely leading to further sales when people are already on the service.
