The wait is almost over for those that are dying to see rest of the prequel trilogy in 3D. ‘Attack of the Clones’ and ‘Revenge of the Sith’ will be released September 20th and October 11th of 2013. This is particularly cool because it shows an acceleration of the 3D releases, which were originally supposed to be one a year. Whether this means we’ll see the original trilogy in 3D any sooner is uncertain, as nothing has yet been announced. We’ve also not heard anything about a 3D Blu-ray release. Still, as long as ‘Clones’ and ‘Sith’ do well, we’re likely to see more releases. Say what you will about George Lucas – you can’t deny that the man likes money. Like this article?
