Tomorrow, Microsoft will announce the Xbox One Media Remote, this according to a report by The Verge. The remote is expected to go on sale on March 4th and should offer some secondary device functionality.
The remote is relatively simple and looks to be designed with Xbox Media apps and the base UI in mind. Volume buttons are said to be able to directly control a secondary device like a TV or receiver while channel buttons will only work through the Xbox One's TV app. The remote also includes a button dedicated to launching the OneGuide.
The remote is an official option for media control after the Xbox One controller and Kinect. Some third party solutions like Logitech's Harmony line also work with the Xbox One.
