Being an early adopter is a thankless job. Sure you get all the cool gadgets long before anybody else, but you have to deal with less than ready versions of hardware and software and paying significantly more than those that wait. Sometimes, though, it pays off. If you preordered the Nexus Q from Google -- their version of the Apple TV -- then you're in luck. The company announced that the product has been delayed, but they're giving everyone that preordered a Nexus Q for free. It's unclear whether that means that they get a second Nexus Q or whether they'll be refunded their preorder cost, but either way it's good news for future owners. Like this article?
