The first week of August is a good one for comedy fans. Adam McCay and Will Ferrell have teamed up again, which can only mean that something hilarious is about to happen. If you're less about the comedy and more into some fun 3D, you're in luck too.
The Other Guys This the same team that brought you 'Talledega Nights,' 'Anchorman,' and the wildly underrated 'Step Brothers.' Unlike the last few Ferrell films though, 'The Other Guys' goes without John C. Reilly, opting instead for Mark Wahlberg. It's amazing that the "buddy cop" movie manages to survive, and even thrive in 2010. This is a flick you don't want to miss. Step Up 3D If you're looking for a deep story, well crafted characters and an Oscar worthy script, this isn't the movie for you. 'Step Up' is all about spectacle. It's all about shooting impressive dance moves in the most interesting way possible. In the latest installation, those moves can be seen in 3D. If you're looking for a bit of mindless fun, you can't do much better. Also in Theaters This Week Middle Men The Disappearance of Alice Creed Flipped Twelve Lebanon The Oxford Murders The Wildest Dream Broderskab Eccentricities of a Blonde-haired Girl
