"We feel good about what we learned in 2010," says Blockbuster's John Bruno. He says that a part of the company's strategy moving forward is to move existing kiosks and put out new ones. "We are either addressing site issues or redeploying machines that did not show up to have the rental foot traffic we had expected."
What's particularly interesting is that Blockbuster reported better than expected results with premium $2.99 rentals of new movies before their availability to Redbox and Netflix. This could be a trend we see continuing in the future.
