When it comes to 3D, we tend to focus on the more exciting things like televisions, Blu-ray players, and even glasses.  The folks over at Contour have the smaller stuff in mind though.

The company has recently shipped out replacement batteries to companies to retailers like Fry's, One Call and Amazon.  The batteries are specially designed as replacements for those included with your 3D active glasses.

Sure, it's a small thing, but the manufacture and promotion of batteries specific towards the purpose of 3D glasses can only be seen as a good sign of confidence in the 3D market.  You'll see Contour's new 2025 and 2032 coin-cell batteries hitting retailers soon.
