It’s a big day for the folks at Apple. Not only have they announced the latest iPad, but they’ve updated the Apple TV, both of which got some significant upgrades. Apple TV’s upgrade is something that simply should have been a part of the device from the beginning. It now offers 1080p resolution and AirPlay compatibility.
The iPad 3 received quite a few more upgrades, but the one you’ll notice right upon booting the device up is the new 2048x1536 pixel screen. No more faux HD – you’ll be able to watch 1080p movies in their proper format. The new version of the tablet is compatible with 4G services from AT&T and Verizon, so you’ll get blazing fast internet speed and you can even share that out by making you iPad a Wi-Fi hotspot. Both the iPad3 and Apple TV Generation 3 will be available next Friday, March 16th.
