You may remember the 2009 movie 'Zombieland' as a bit of a surprise hit, but you'll soon be able to see more of it in the form of 30 minute episodes on Amazon. The new show will feature the same characters as in the movie but with different actors in the roles and the focus, from what we've seen of leaked script pages, will be the relationship between characters Columbus and Wichita.
What's particularly interesting about this reveal is that the show was originally slated to be released on CBS. That means that Amazon is picking up a TV quality show, which says big things about their commitment to the streaming side of their business. We'll be expecting to see more from the company in the near future. |
