Thiel's got a new speaker that's heading to dealers for the upcoming holiday season. The SCS4T is a two-way speaker that Thiel says was designed in direct response to consumer desire for a Power Driver-based floorstanding loudspeaker.
Like the popular SCS4 bookshelf speaker, the SCS4T sports a coaxially mounted Power Driver which provides high output capability and an increased level of special realism. The tweeter is actually based on that of the flagship speaker – the CS3.7. You won't find the SCS4T touching the ground either. It's equipped with aluminum outriggers featuring gunmetal finish spikes that crate a superior base for the loudspeaker. You'll be able to pick up the SCS4T for a price of $3,690 per pair on November 15th. Like all Thiel speakers, it's available in Natural Cherry, Dark Cherry and Ash finishes. |
