The Take Series is constructed using a rigid aluminum enclosure to minimize cabinet resonances without sacrificing internal volume. This results in better bass and blending with a powered subwoofer, according to Energy. All models in the Take Series feature Energy's Elliptical surround technology, allowing small speakers to perform like much larger ones. The Take SAT and Take LCR feature 3-1/2-inch mica filled polypropylene drivers with Elliptical Surround, built to handle the rigors of home theater and music. The new Take FPS and TWR feature larger 4-/2-inch Elliptical Surround woofers with cast baskets, offering performance, accuracy, detail and speed.

The Take Series features Energy's 1-inch chambered aluminum dome tweeter, technology that was originally designed for use in the Veritas series. All models in the Take Series feature magnetic grilles and include glass bases and wall mounting brackets, in an effort to meet any installation requirement while also matching the display device.

Take FPS
The Take FPS features dual patented 4-1/2-inch Elliptical Surround woofers and dual 4-1/2-inch Elliptical Surround passive radiators, combined with Energy's 1-inch chambered aluminum dome tweeter. The Take FPS can be mounted horizontally or vertically, and has an included wall bracket with 25 degrees of adjustment. Rated frequency response is 60Hz to 23KHz and power handling is 200 Watts. The Take FPS is available in black or silver.

Take TWR
The new Take TWR tower speaker features four of Energy's 4-1/2-inch Elliptical Surround woofers with cast baskets, a dual ported cabinet, and chambered 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter. To match decor, the Take TWR includes a glass base and can be wall mounted with the included wall mount bracket. The frequency response is 52Hz to 23KHz and powerhandling is 250 Watts. The Take TWR is available in black or silver.
