Architectural Products is offering a 20% discount on its willtec
acoustical wall panel products to anyone who wants to replace their
existing polyurethane acoustical foam materials. illbruck is offering
this "Replacement Sale" discount to everyone, regardless of whether
they bought their current acoustical product from them, or from one of
their competitors.
illbruck decided to announce this "Replacement Sale" after receiving a number of calls from people concerned about the flammability of their acoustical foam in the wake of the recent fire at The Station nightclub in Rhode Island during a great white concert. "While it's important to remember that the foam used in Rhode Island appears to have been an inexpensive polyurethane product that was not approved for acoustical purposes, people are right to be concerned about using Polyurethane," says Joerg Hutmacher, business unit manager, illbruck Architectural Products. "Polyurethane foam does have a higher flammability than products made from willtec. When using it, it's very important to follow building codes to ensure everyone's safety." willtec acoustical wall panels are made from melamine foam, a unique alternative to polyurethane foam that retains the acoustic qualities of polyurethane but is far less flammable. willtec has a Class 1 fire rating, the best fire rating possible for a building material. It is flame and chemical resistant and, unlike polyurethane foams, it will not decompose or emit toxic gases when exposed to flame. This discount will be available through 12/21/03.
