Netflix is ceasing the selling of previously viewed DVDs through their website.  Netflix has decided to focus on its core business of providing movie rentals on DVD and Blu-ray.  Sales of previously viewed DVDs will continue until the end of November.

Netflix has also release a special note clarifying that the ceasing of this service in no way means that the company is moving away from DVD rentals.  In fact they specifically stated that they "believe that DVDs will continue to be important for the next five to ten years at least."
