ULTIMATE JORDAN (USA Films) is a two-disc set that includes remastered versions of Michael Jordan in action in "Above and Beyond," "Air Time," "Come Fly With Me," "Michael Jordan's Playground" and "His Airness." Aspect ratio is 1.33:1; sound format is English Dolby Digital 5.1. ABOUT ADAM (Miramax Home Entertainment), released theatrically earlier this year, is a low-key, unusual comedy about a young man (Stuart Townsend) who becomes romantically entangled with three sisters in Dublin, Ireland. THE BIBLE (20th Century Fox Home Entertainment) is director John Huston’s 1966 epic encompassing Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel and Noah and the flood. George C. Ming-Na, Alec Baldwin and Donald Sutherland voice the main characters; Motonori Sakakibara and Hironobu Sakaguchi direct. Aspect ratio is 1.85:1; sound formats are English Dolby Digital 5.1, English Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround and French Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo, with English and French subtitles and English closed-captioning. Rip Torn, Marisa Coughlan and Harland Williams also star. Aspect ratio is 1.85:1; sound formats are English Dolby Digital 5.1, English Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround and French Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround, with Spanish subtitles and English closed-captioning. HAXAN: WITCHCRAFT THROUGH THE AGES – CRITERION COLLECTION (Home Vision Cinema) contains both the original Benjamin Christensen 1922 documentary HAXAN and the 74-minute 1968 speed-corrected version narrated by William Burroughs, with a soundtrack that features Jean-Luc Ponty. Aspect ratio is full-screen 1.33:1; sound format (original score) is Dolby Digital 5.0, with English and Swedish subtitles. Extras include an audio commentary by silent film scholar Casper Tybjerg, music from the Danish premiere, the director’s introduction to the 1941 re-release, outtakes and photographic explorations of the film’s sources. JUST JUDY(Pioneer Video), previously released as part of THE JUDY GARLAND COLLECTION, is a collection of Garland’s solo moments from her 1963 TV show. Jerry Van Dyke is also featured. Extras include an unaired outtake with Mickey Rooney, photo galleries, an index of all 26 episodes of the series, an alphabetized listing of all the songs performed on all the episodes and DVD-ROM features. THE LIFE AND TIMES OF HANK GREENBERG (20th Century Fox Home Entertainment) is director Aviva Kempner’s documentary about the famed baseball player. Aspect ratio is full-screen 1.33:1; sound format is English Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround, with English, Spanish and Yiddish subtitles and English closed-captioning. Extras include additional interviews with Detroit Tigers fans, former Greenberg teammates and celebrities, Goldberg’s biography and statistics, the director’s notes, reviews, a biography of Kempner and the trailer. THE PERSONALS (A-Pix Entertainment) is director Mike Sargent’s 1999 romantic comedy about a reporter (Malik Yoba) who becomes more than professionally involved with his story about people who place newspaper ads looking for love.
