There's been a lot of talk about the new 4K TVs being offered up by a variety of companies, but SIM2 wants to make sure you're considering all the options. After all, an 84 inch picture is something projectors can do easily.
The company showed of a CinemaQuattro 4K DLP projector that uses three 4K 1.38 inch DLP chipsets and pumps out 20,000 ANSI lumens. It utilizes exclusive SIM2 High Contrast and Colorimetry profiles and a Xenon Bubble Lamp that's easy to replace. You'll also find Christie technology, which ensures that, according to CEO Maurizio Cini, will provide "the best 4K technology available today, and not a product that is just good enough because it is 4K resolution." SIM2's new 4K projector is due out this holiday season at a price yet to be announced. |
