Accurate Imaging Technologies has just introduced the Accurate BR-5 and Accurate BR-7 DLP HDTV Projectors.
Compact models more accessibly priced than Accurate’s CRT-based projectors, the BR-5 and BR-7 employ digital technology to deliver an enjoyable Home Theater experience. Both are HD-compatible and have contrast ratios of 2000:1 for image clarity. The Accurate BR-5, weighing only 6.4 pounds, features a native resolution of 1024 x 768, internal scaling, 3:2 pull-down for a more film-like image, multiple aspect ratio settings, and a peak brightness level of 1,000 ANSI Lumens. The comprehensive connection panel includes DVI for image quality, and inputs for RGB HV, component video (YPrPb), S-Video and composite video. The Accurate BR-7 features a native resolution of 1280 x 720, a native 16:9 wide screen aspect ratio with additional settings, internal scaling, 3:2 pull-down for a more film-like image, and a peak brightness level of 1,000 ANSI Lumens. Like the BR-5, the comprehensive connection panel includes DVI for digital image quality, and inputs for RGB HV, component video (YPrPb), S-Video and composite video. The Accurate BR-5 is now available at a suggested price of $5,995; pricing for the Accurate BR-7, available in October, will be announced shortly. |
