Size
is important to home theater enthusiasts and with the exception of
displays, most consumers want their components to be as small as
possible. Sim2’s new C3X projector comes in a compact
17.1x17.5x16.9-inches (WxHxD) package but it does not compromise
quality in the process.
The key technology behind the projector includes the latest DLP chips and Sim2’s new light engine. The folded ALPHA Path engine effectively re-sizes the illumination optical path to give length while remaining compact and delivering quality picture. The C3X’s reported contrast ratio of 6500:1 and 720p/1080i reproduction combine with two lens options and 250 watt Hi-Brite lamp to produce vibrant, detailed images. The projector has ten inputs, including HDMI-HDCP video inputs for high-definition content and a USB port from which owners can download the latest control software. The projector’s currently available at a suggested price of $15,995. |
