The Series 1 cables have been classified as HDMI 1.3b Category 2 and classified as high speed HDMI. They’ve been tested in real world conditions by use of a Blu-ray player and a 1080p flat panel set, though the company doesn’t specify LCD or plasma.
Cables that don’t meet Tributaries’ standards are rejected, and the Series 1 cables are tested for color fidelity and “sparkle free” performance. They’re triple shielded for “added piece of mind” and to ensure an interference free experience.
The cables can be purchased in a variety of sizes. The smallest is a ½ meter cable that runs $25, while the largest is a 3 meter cable for $40.00. The cables can also be purchased directly from Tributaries in bulk.
