{mosiimage}RTCom has introduced three new systems, RDSEA (SRP: $1,169), OBHD (SRP: $599), and OBCA (SRP: $599), which use fiber optics to extend either DVI or HDMI up to 3,280 feet. All of these units feature HDCP compliance, detachable DVI/HDMI modules, and a wide range of indoor and outdoor uses. The RDSEA system can output DVI to two displays. It features a speed of 1.6 Gbps when transferring data, and can display WUXGA and 1080p resolution. The OBHD is able to run through a small conduit (due to its ability to detach), and only needs a one-inch opening in order to function. It can handle uncompressed A/V data, and it supports the range of resolutions from 480p to 1080p. The OBCA is an extender intended for use with digital displays. It can display all resolutions up to 1080p, and can carry digital audio separately from video. |
