{mosiimage}RTCom has introduced three new systems, RDSEA (SRP: $1,169), OBHD (SRP: $599), and OBCA (SRP: $599), which use fiber optics to extend either DVI or HDMI up to 3,280 feet. All of these units feature HDCP compliance, detachable DVI/HDMI modules, and a wide range of indoor and outdoor uses. The RDSEA system can output DVI to two displays. It features a speed of 1.6 Gbps when transferring data, and can display WUXGA and 1080p resolution.The OBHD is able to run through a small conduit (due to its ability to detach), and only needs a one-inch opening in order to function. It can handle uncompressed A/V data, and it supports the range of resolutions from 480p to 1080p. The OBCA is an extender intended for use with digital displays.
