QED Releases a Fire-Resistant Audiophile-Grade Cable

QED, operating in the UK hi-fi and video cable industry, has just introduced the Silverline Five – The first audiophile-grade loudspeaker cable rated by Underwire Laboratories (UL) as being fire-resistant. It has been approved for installation in-wall and between-floor.

The UL-CL3 rating has been given to the Silverline Five, indicating that it is safe for in-wall use in both commercial and residential buildings. It also obtained the UL13 rating given to Power Limited Cables, and the UL-CL3R indicating that it is safe for use between floors. This fire-resistent cable is available now from authorized dealers.
