Octava Inc. has released their new HDMI Audio Converter. It features one HDMI input, one HDMI output, L/R stereo audio output and optical Toslink output. It fully supports resolutions up to and including 1080p.

The device passes audio and video through HDMI from the HD source, and extracts digital audio in order to convert it to optical audio for use with surround sound systems.
