IOGEAR Wireless HD Kit Sends 1080p up to 100 Feet  Print E-mail

We've been waiting a while for wireless high definition setups to get to the point where they work well and don't cost an arm and a leg.  And if IOGEAR's Wireless HD Kit is any indicator, we'll be waiting a while on the cost front.

From a functional standpoint though, the Wireless HD Kit stands a lot stronger.  For starters, it uses the 802.11n WiFi standard to send its signal, giving it a range of up to 100 feet.  But if you need to reach farther from your source, you can run CAT5 or CAT6 cables instead of HDMI.

The Wireless HD Kit is capable of sending a 1080p with a 60Hz refresh rate right alongside digital audio signals.  And if you're hoping to send signal to more than one source, you're in luck.  You can use as many as four receivers to pull HD video out of the air. The IOGEAR Wireless HD Kit is available now for $899.

That's one awesome device for streaming from computers to an HDTV. If you're
looking for a cheaper alternative though, I got just the device for you. Check
out the Netgear Push2TV product. This device makes use of the HDMI port on the
HDTV and acts as a wireless adapter, displaying what you see on your computer on
to your HDTV. So instead of connecting the computer via an HDMI cable, the
Netgear Push2TV takes its place, and wirelessly streams the contents of your
computer even if they're in separate rooms in the house. To know more about
Netgear's Push2TV product, just check it out here, http://bit.ly/bByST7. I'm
sure you'll love it too.
