If you've got things to plug in, Crestron's got the plugs. Their latest wall plate, the DM-TX-400-3G, supports just about everything you could want to attach to it. The DM-TX-400-3G has a VGA input for PC connectivity, a USB port to allow for mouse and keyboard control, 1/8" audio input, and support for SPDIF, component cables and of course, HDMI.
All signals going through the wall plate transmitter are sent digitally up to 450 feet. "They are the perfect solution for integrating digital and analog sources via a single cable," says Crestron's director of marketing Vincent Bruno. "DM wall plates give you remote input connectivity for virtually any AV source." The DM-TX-400-3G can install anywhere in the room and can be wall, floor or even lectern mounted using a standard triple-gang box. |
