Blue Horizon Announces a Burn-in Accelerator for Cables Print E-mail
Tuesday, 12 May 2009
ImageA new product will soon hit markets from the relatively young audio components company Blue Horizon.  The Proburn, a cable burn-in accelerator, is supposed to accelerate the burn-in process for audio cables in order for them to achieve their best sound within 24 to 48 hours, as opposed to the months it would normally take. The company says this will allow cables to transmit bass and other audio more naturally and fully, without the wait for the constraint that new cables exhibit to go away.  The Proburn sends high and low frequencies through the cable to penetrate the conductor and the core, which is a more effective method than current burn-in CDs on the market, according to Blue Horizon.  The Proburn retails for a suggested price of $1,100.
