Blue Horizon Announces a Burn-in Accelerator for Cables  Print E-mail

A new product will soon hit markets from the relatively young audio components company Blue Horizon.  The Proburn, a cable burn-in accelerator, is supposed to accelerate the burn-in process for audio cables in order for them to achieve their best sound within 24 to 48 hours, as opposed to the months it would normally take.

The company says this will allow cables to transmit bass and other audio more naturally and fully, without the wait for the constraint that new cables exhibit to go away.  The Proburn sends high and low frequencies through the cable to penetrate the conductor and the core, which is a more effective method than current burn-in CDs on the market, according to Blue Horizon.  The Proburn retails for a suggested price of $1,100.

Ever notice that cables always sound better after burn-in...and never worse? Why
is that?

jmilton7043, have you ever gone through the science and physics on why cables
can not make a sonic difference in the 20Hz-20kHz range? Try using google
sometime when a cable maker uses fancy words to define what their cables do.
