Technical specifications remain untouched on this version of these award-winning loudspeakers. Drivers feature CMC Ceramic Metal Composite domes for spacious and transparent high-frequency presentation. Ferro-fluid cooling gives greater high-power handling, particularly important in today’s higher bandwidths. MPC Metallescent Polymer Cones teamed with large motor/magnet structures help deliver smooth midrange reproduction. Chassis configurations include die-cast baskets in the smaller models and GRIP glass-reinforced injection-molded polymer baskets in the larger speakers; both styles are rigid to eliminate flexing and ringing.

All speakers in the Performance Series are also available with magnetic shielding (already included on center channels), making the smaller-sized performers in this series suitable for home theater and for computer enthusiasts who want excellent quality sound for gaming, listening to music or watching DVDs. ADP surround/rear speakers use optimized radiation patterns to provide a uniform reverberant soundfield and full-bandwidth bass. Performance center channels and ADPs are timbre-matched to all Performance Series v.4 speakers.

The Atom v.4 is available for $199/pair, Titan v.4 for $229/pair, Focus v.4 at $319/pair, Esprit v.4 at $429/pair and Phantom v.4 at $549/pair. CC-170 v.4 is available for $199, and the CC-270 v.4 comes in at $299. The ADP-170 v.4 rear/surround speakers are $479/pair.
