The new CM 24 speakers from ELAC are specifically designed to match Plasma or LCD televisions.
This 2.5-way universal loudspeaker is made from a heavy aluminum extrusion and can be used as center and main speakers. With its compact dimensions, it can be used in most TV racks and cabinets. When wall mounted, special wall brackets can be adjusted to suit vertical or horizontal mounting and the Cinema 24 CM can also be used freestanding with an optional high-quality glass base.
Up to seven units can be used to build a surround system. In combination with a matching ELAC subwoofer, this slender speaker is part of a highly efficient set-up suitable for high levels or larger rooms and for high-quality stereo reproduction, home cinema, hi-fi and surround music. The CM 24 can be integrated and matched with any current Elac Cinema system giving flexibility in installation.
The Cinema 24 CM is currently available for $369 per speaker. Optional glass base is available for $40, and a matching subwoofer (111.2ESP) is $510.
