There's something about that number – one billion. It's the mark of extreme success, whether it's hits on a website, burgers sold, or movies rented. Redbox hit that number this week, and they're planning on celebrating.
If you pick up a DVD or Blu-ray from Redbox, you have a chance to win free rentals, cash, home theater gear, or a trip to the People's Choice Awards. Simply swing on over to Rebox.com/thanks and enter your DVD code to get a shot at one of the prizes. If you win the grand prize, but don't feel like jetting out to L.A. for the award show, you can opt for a 52 inch Sony NX800 television, a 5.1 surround system, a Blu-ray player and 12 Blu-ray movies. Not a bad little prize pack. According to the company, it was 'Clash of the Titans,' picked up by a customer in Tampa, Florida that marked this billionth rental. It's not the best movie around, but it's got to be a favorite at Redbox today. |
