Paramount Home Entertainment and DreamWorks are set to offer a $10 rebate on Blu-ray upgrades. For owners of the original DVD, the studios will be offering $10 back for select upcoming titles. Certificates for the rebate will be available in Blu-ray packages of Transformers, The Godfather, Old School, Stardust, Sweeney Todd and Zodiac.
To receive the rebate, consumers must mail the Blu-ray purchase
receipt, proof-of-purchase tabs from the DVD and Blu-ray disc packages,
and the certifcate. The purchase of the Blu-ray disc version must be
made by December 31, 2009 and the rebates must be postmarked by January
31, 2010.
Transformers hits streets on September 2, The Godfather will be out
September 23 and Sweeney Todd on October 21. Street dates for the
Blu-ray versions of Old School, Stardust, and Zodiac have not yet been
announced.
