Dolby says this is a move that will help the overall market for HD audio grow, and will satisfy the needs of Chinese Blu-Ray manufacturers.  So far, Chinese manufacturers TCL Technology Electronics (Huizhou) Co. Limited, Lite-On IT (Lite-On), and MIT Technology have incorporated Dolby sound into their discs, with many more expected to follow.
