There have not been technical specifications released, but it is likely that it will be released as a 3-disc Blu-ray set and include a 1080p/AVC transfer.  Bonus materials have been released.  The extras will include the following.

• “Super Rhino” gives Rhino the hamster his own adventure.
• “I Thought I Lost You” is a Miley Cyrus and John Travolta music video.  There is also a behind-the-scenes look at the recording session with Travolta and Cyrus.
• “A New Breed of Directors” is a featurette with first-time directors of the film.
• “The Voices of Bolt” goes behind the scenes with the voice cast of the film.
• “Creating the World of Bolt” takes a look at the CGI of the film.
