As expected, both Blu-ray and DVD sales decreased this past week. Blu-ray maintained the eight percent of the market share it has grown accustom to, however overall sales dropped by nearly 10 percent from the previous week. This is no surprise when the biggest Blu-ray new release for the week was Step Up 2: The Streets. This week should be much better with the release of Universal's Mummy Collection on Blu-ray. In addition 21 makes its debut, as well as some Paramount Blu-ray releases like Top Gun.
