This week is great for genre films. There's a horror/comedy movie, a few good westerns, a musical internet series and even a pretty solid post apocalyptic tale of survival. Read on to see all of this week's Blu-ray releases.
The Road
After 'No Country for Old Men,' Hollywood seems to have fallen in love with Cormack McCarthy. 'The Road' is the second novel of his that has been made into a film, and it certainly won't be the last. It's a little slow, and it can be tough to watch, but it's well worth it.
Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog
If you haven't seen 'Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog' you should really check it out. It stars Neil Patrick Harris, was written by Joss Whedon, and a wonderful mix of funny and sweet. If you're a fan of superheroes, and even if you're not, 'Dr. Horrible' is well worth watching.
Django
Spaghetti Westerns at their finest are usually attributed to the likes of Sergio Leone. But fans of the genre will want to check out Sergio Corbucci's 'Django.' You may not see a lot of faces you recognize, but you'll be treated to an excellent film.
