There's plenty of Blu-ray coming out this week including a great post-apocalyptic movie from the Hughes Brothers, a hilarious flick starring Michael Cera, and a 'Unthinkable,' which didn't get a theatrical release, but has earned high praises.
Book of Eli Put Denzel Washington in a move and have him act against Gary Oldman and you're bound to do alright. 'Book of Eli' is a good movie that doesn't quite reach greatness. There's plenty of action, some great banter between the film's stars, and an excellent performance my Michael Gambon. Youth in Revolt If you're not a fan of Michael Cera's style of quirky comedy, 'Youth in Revolt' isn't going to change your mind. He plays the same basic character that he always plays, and in much the same way. Mostly, anyway. When the alter ego of Francois comes into play, things get really interesting. 'Youth' is a flick that’s definitely worth watching. Unthinkable Samuel L. Jackson, Carrie-Anne Moss and Michael Sheen star in this suspense thriller which never went wide theatrically. It's got a lot of talent behind it, and based on reviews it's actually a pretty good movie to boot. 'Unthinkable' tackles the subject of torture in interrogation, so it can be a little hard to watch, but it's certainly worth a look.
