The original 'Clash of the Titans' was very much a cult classic, and this week's movies reflect that. There isn't much in terms of new, but there are plenty of old horror flicks and comedies that certainly earn their cult status, even if "classic" may be debatable.
Clash of the Titans If you're into ancient myths, giant scorpions or Liam Neeson's amazing beard, you're in luck. 'Clash of the Titans' wasn't a great movie by any stretch of the imagination, and the upgraded effects made it hard to appreciate the sort of campy cheese that made the first so great. Regardless, 'Clash' is a fun flick to watch, especially if you've got a sense of humor about your action movies. G.I. Joe – The Movie No, this isn't that schlock from a few years ago that tried to cash in on the success of the 'Transformers' movies. This is the schlock that comes dripping with 1987 nostalgia, which makes it somehow better. It's the same ridiculous movie designed to make you buy toys, but for some reason it's still watchable. Puppet Master When you're all out of 'Friday the 13th,' 'Halloween,' 'Nightmare on Elm Street' and 'Hellraiser' movies to watch, you can always go a few rungs down the ladder of late 80s horror to 'Puppetmaster.' Is it a great horror flick? Not even close. It'll do in a pinch though. Also coming out this week Accidents Happen Batman: Under the Red Hood Battlestar Galactica: Season 3 Fanboys Home (2008) Ip Man Ip Man: Collector's Edition Johnny Handsome Lock Up The Missing Lynx Operation: Endgame The Prowler Puppet Master: Axis of Evil Rambo: Extended Cut Rambo: The Complete Collection Screwballs II: Loose Screws The Secret of the Grain Stargate Universe - SGU: Season 1.5 Victor/Victoria: The Broadway Musical
