After a few weeks of less impressive releases, we get spoiled by a week full of fantastic Blu-ray content including one of the greats and a new release that may be remembered that way.
The Social Network 'The Social Network' is easily one of the best films of the year and is up for serious Oscar consideration. It's often described as a movie about Facebook, but it's not. It's about the people behind Facebook, specifically Mark Zuckerberg as played by Jesse Eisenberg, who proves that he can do more than follow in Michael Cera's awkward comedic footsteps. This is an essential pickup. Piranha It's rare that a movie throws off the trappings of the extremely limited horror genre and manages to be something other than traditional. 'Piranha' does that, and it does so in 3D, for those that want the option of a third dimension. Raging Bull Deniro, Pesci and Scorsese. That should be all anyone needs to hear when considering 'Raging Bull.' It's not only an excellent film, but amazing looking as well. This is certainly a must-have Blu-ray for collectors and fans alike. Alpha and Omega Army of Shadows Dances with Wolves: 20th Anniversary Edition Gabriel Iglesias: I'm Not Fat...
