Blu-ray Disc Releases Reach 1,000 Milestone

Digital downloads may be catching on, and Blu-ray may still only hold a small fraction of the market share. However, Blu-ray hit their first milestone recently, with 1,000 titles released in high definition. While there is slightly more than 800 on the market, another 150 or so are planned for release, most by the end of the year.

Congratulations to the Blu-ray camp. Now, if only better titles would start getting release dates, prices cheaper (both players and software) and the technology stabilized with lightning fast load times, we'll be all set.
