In September of this year, Warner Bros. will re-release the 1992 Blade Runner: Director’s Cut on DVD for only a four month time period. Then, in 2007 the studio will present a theatrical release of Blade Runner: The Final Cut, a new and final edit by director Ridley Scott. Following the theatrical release will be a DVD box set which will include Blade Runner: The Final Cut, the 1992 Blade Runner: Director’s Cut, and the original 1982 film version, plus additional supplementary material.

Warner Home Video has also confirmed that re-acquiring Blade Runner also means a release of the film in the new HD DVD and Blu-ray formats.
