Some people scoff at the idea of spending big money on a Blu-ray player. Those people won't be touching Theta's new player. The Compli Blu is for those who are looking for an incredibly high-end experience and that don't mind paying for it.
The Compli Blu 3D packs Marvell Qdeo processing for the ultimate in color accuracy and upscaling. It plays back Blu-rays, 3D Blu-rays, DVDs, CDs, DVD-A and SACDs, so anything you've got handy is going to work nicely with it. One thing that might come as a surprise is that the only audio output option is digital. There are no DACs included. Theta says that onboard DACs are simply a waste of money and you're better off with a separate component, so it's not essential to include them. The Compli Blu 3D is available now at $3,995. |
