Pioneer has just announced the BDP-V6000 Professional Blu-ray player.  This player is designed for rack mounts and supports playback of Blu-ray discs and DVD media in both NTSC / PAL playback formats.  It has serial RS-232C support for custom installations and plays movies at 24, 25, or 30 fps.

The graphical interface is a unique design, specifically to improve setup and the internal playlist operation.  The player comes with BD-Live compatibility as well as 1GB od on-board memory to download online content.  For additional storage capacity, the player includes USB 2.0 ports to expand the total memory.  The BDP-V6000 has a targeted release date of September 2009.  No pricing has been announced as of yet.
