With an increasing number of consumers utilizing Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones, PDAs and PCs as entertainment devices, Yamaha has integrated wireless Bluetooth playback throughout its line of receivers, home-theater-in-a-box systems and portable speakers. The result is great sound and more flexibility in entertainment sources that can be enjoyed through a home entertainment system or anywhere on the go.

Yamaha’s new line of digital home theater receivers further extend high end functionality, flexibility and intuitive operation at moderate price points. In addition to Bluetooth playback via optional Yamaha direct connect accessories, the line of five models (RX-V863, 105Wx7, MSRP $999.95; RX-V663, 95Wx7, MRSP $549.95; RX-V563, 90Wx7, MSRP $449.95; RX-V463, 105Wx5, MSRP $349.95; and RX-V363, 100Wx5, MSRP $229.95) integrate features such as 1080p-compatible HDMI switching, iPod-compatibility (with optional accessories), XM and Sirius Satellite Radio compatibility, four system-configuring SCENE modes and improved CINEMA DSP Technology.

Yamaha’s latest line of Home-Theater-in-a-Box (HTIB) systems provides consumers with the ability to playback content from Sirius and XM Satellite Radio, as well as iPods and  Bluetooth (A2DP) enabled phones, computers and PDAs with optional Yamaha direct connect accessories. In addition, all systems feature SCENE modes to instantly enjoy content from any entertainment source in surround sound, and Compressed Music Enhancer that improves the sound quality of compressed music from any audio source. The top two systems in the line have YPAO system calibration and intuitive onscreen displays for all system functions. The four models in the line (YHT-790 (5 x 105W, 130W sub, MSRP: $849.95); YHT-690 (5 x 105W, 100W sub, MSRP: $649.95); YHT-590 (5 x 100W, 100W sub, MSRP: $549.95) and YHT-390 (5 x 100W, 100W sub, MSRP: $399.95) are all currently available.

Yamaha’s new portable wireless Bluetooth stereo speaker (NX-B02) delivers dynamic and high-quality stereo sound from a single compact enclosure (6.6 by 3.3 by 3.3 inches (HWD)) to any environment from Bluetooth-enabled laptops, mobile phones, PDAs and MP3 players.
