The latest receivers from Denon are geared towards those with networked homes and a desire to make their content available anywhere in the house. They also have quite a bit of functionality ready for Apple users. The AVR-2112CI ($599.99), AVR-2312CI ($799.99) and AVR-3312CI ($999.99) all come equipped with multi-zone networking capabilities that allow you to play music back in as many as five rooms at once. They boast the ability to stream music from your PC or from online sources like Pandora, Rhapsody and Napster. They're also incredibly Apple friendly. All of the IN-Command receivers are packed with AirPlay compatibility that lets you connect your wireless apple device to the receiver without having to go through any complicated setup. Denon's AVR-2112CI is a 7.1 channel receiver while the others offer 7.2 channels. Among its other benefits, the top-end 3312 offers Audyssey DSX, the Dynamic Discrete Surround Circuit and 125 watts per channel. All of Denon's In-Command receivers will be available in May. |
