Yamaha has taken the lid off of its latest device, which could simplify any home theater setup: the neoHD. This Media Controller not only offers HD performance for both audio and video, but it also controls all home theater components, Internet components, and devices connected to the home theater AV setup. It can control six devices at a time, and the remote control has embedded codes for most brands and devices on the market. In addition to three HDMI inputs, two component video inputs and the optional Wi-Fi, the neoHD can connect to portable devices such as USB drives or iPods. The neoHD comes in a variety of configurations: the neoHD, neoHD Wi-Fi, and neoHD System 2.1. This System 2.1 is a complete surround sound system that includes two speakers and a subwoofer, and is designed to match the neoHD. The neoHD controller is available now for $599.95, the Wi-Fi-enabled neoHD is available for $799.95 and the neoHD System 2.1 is available for $799.95. Like this article?
