Sirius
Satellite Radio and Rotel, one of the world’s leading producers of
specialty audio components, announced that Rotel plans to develop a
tuner capable of receiving Sirius.
The RT1084 tuner would be the first satellite radio unit for Rotel, and will have multi-zone capabilities that will allow it to play three different channels of Sirius at the same time in separate rooms. Availability is expected around mid-year. “We are thrilled to have such a prestigious brand as Rotel join the Sirius family of product partners,” said Larry Pesce, Senior Vice President of Product Management and Strategic Planning at Sirius. Not only does this agreement add an exciting dimension to Sirius-ready products, but it will expand the availability of our service to audiophiles.” |
