The C-7000R is the latest CD player to come out of Onkyo, but you won't be able to tell just by looking at it. The player was styled after the classic stereo models of the 1980s, with sharp edges and a minimalistic design.
Onkyo says that the C-7000R brings together everything great about their past CD players including a thermally regulated high-precision clock, ultra-low jitter technology, and anti-vibration casing. It boasts a new circuit board construction with completely separate analog and digital circuitry. Interference is an enemy of good sound and Onkyo pulled out the stops to keep interference away. The C-7000R can be operated in analog-only or digital-only mode, which allows the player to use only the components required for your audio output of choice. The C-7000R will be available this month at a price of $1,499. |
